HISTORY 1112: Foundation of monastery school 1814: Public school and boarding school 1870: Matriculation examinations held 1872: Establishment of two boarding schools (Konvikt - Boarding school and a Seminary school) 1938: Closing of the school (became a "Naziheimschule") 1945: School re-opens on 2nd October with 160 students 1972: School accepts girls; language choice allowed between of French and Greek SPECIAL FEATURES The school stresses voluntary activities; there is no afternoon instruction apart from these voluntary activities. New Theatre; drama group 1997/98 Establishment of a nature study scheme.
