School Statement

Saint John's Prep School's emphasis on academic rigour and spiritual growth attracts students from across the United States and from around the world as they seek the best possible preparation for college. The school shares a campus with Saint John's University, creating added benefits to students including college class options. Recent construction at the school includes 4 new science labs/classrooms and the 1997 construction of a fine arts facility. St. John's Prep was founded in 1857 by the monks of St. John's Abbey. The school became co-ed in 1973 and added a middle school in 1997.

Exchange Note

We have an exchange programme with Stiftsgymnasium Melk in Austria and offer a month-long study program in Segovia, Spain. We also offer a limited exchange program with a school in Okinawa.
