School Statement | |||
| Before the 2nd World War the Abbey was running a small lower school for boys up to the age of 14. After World War II the present school was founded by Abbot Eugen Fiderer. At the beginning most of the students were boarders. Now it's a school for the area and only about 10% of the 600 students are boarders. Special emphasis is laid on foreign languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian are offered) and the use of electronic media. The school understands itself as a Catholic school. Open-minded but rooted in Christian values | |||
