School Statement

St Martin's School, Nawton and Ampleforth College Junior School, their foundation inspired by the same Abbey and the same Catholic faith, are merging to create St Martin's Ampleforth, a new boarding and day preparatory school. St Martin's Ampleforth will be a co-educational school offering Scripture. education to boys and girls aged from three to thirteen years. It will, via Common Entrance and Scholarship, prepare the pupils for entry to the Public School of their choice, although it is expected many of the boys will go on to Ampleforth College. For the younger children, a new and carefully designed Pre-Prep department has been created. The new School will benefit from the excellent facilities available, not only on the Gilling Castle site, but also at Ampleforth College. Whilst unambiguously Catholic, St Martin's Ampleforth will welcome all Christians and all who accept the word of God in scripture.

Exchange Note

The school does not participate in any exchange schemes, nor does it wish to.
