School Statement

Founded from Downside Abbey in 1902, St Benedict's became an independent Abbey in 1948. The school is a central part of the monastery's vision and serves Catholic families over a major part of London. The school is a member of the Headmasters' Conference.

The school motto is "from smallest beginnings".

Our aim is to prepare young people for a full life here and hereafter.
